To guide and manage the overall provision of the People services and programs for central, in harmony with the Group strategy, initiatives, projects delivering consistency and a common framework for the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops the people plans for central aligned with the organisational strategy.
- Works with the key stakeholders to review and implement effective People teams and structures for the central functions.
- Work in partnership with the Group Head of L&D to ensure the right development and succession plans are in place for the central teams.
- Work with function leads enabling line managers to drive accountability at appropriate levels and support the managers to achieve this. Hence building effective high-performance teams/structures delivering to budget and the company strategy.
- Ensures the group operates within the requirements of employment law and ethical policy at all times.
- Provides a professional advisory service that gives effective solutions to people issues ensuring a balance between individual sand business needs.
- Ensure KPIs and reports are understood, integrated and aligned across the People teams. KPIs and reports support effective data management, visibility and action focused activity. Provide board KPIs to CPO.
- Employee relations are effectively managed across central. Ensure effective employee representative groups in place that are legally compliant and support positive employee relations particularly around well-being and D&I.
- Develop engagement plans. Robust communication plans are in place and proactive activities are embedded to support good retention.
- Works with the Occupational Health resource and align cost, activity and resource across the central.
- Create and update people policies.
- Drive harmonisation of people processes and procedures across the Group.
